Candice completed her Masters in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Sydney and was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholar Award for Excellence in Academic Performance in 2018. She has experience delivering speech-pathology services in schools and in clinic, in one-on-one and small group settings.

Candice has worked with children with a range of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, Dyslexia, and intellectual delays. Her areas of particular interest are early language, literacy, and speech-sound disorders. She has also provided stuttering treatment for preschoolers and adolescents.

Candice is trained in the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme, PROMPT, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Keyword Sign, and is currently undergoing certification in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).

Prior to becoming a Speech Language Pathologist, Candice completed a Masters in Applied Linguistics at the University of New South Wales. She is passionate about language-learning and is interested in bilingualism and language development of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) children. Candice speaks Cantonese, and majored in Korean and Japanese in her undergraduate degree.
